Nicole’s success: Down 26 pounds thanks to Gymondo!

Nicole has finally managed to get back into shape after her pregnancy. With Gymondo, she has reached her goal and is finally back to a size 6 dress after 10 years. Read Nicole’s motivating success story in this interview and then get started on your own.

Nicole, the pictures speak for themselves. Congratulations! How much did you lose and how long did it take you?

I have now lost 26 pounds in exactly five months.

Great! How often did you work out each week? Which Gymondo program did you do and what was your diet?

I work out with Gymondo 5 to 6 times a week. I tried a lot of programs: “Sophia Thiel’s 12 Week Program,” “Intense” and “Fat Burner Beginner,” before I found “Slim in 10 Weeks” and “Sky Boxing”, which I’ve stuck with! I’ve done really well with the Gymondo diet. The only thing that was hard for me was giving up the soda, but I finally kicked that habit.

Can you remember when you started to feel uncomfortable in your body?

Yes, I can really well: I have had 4 children and gained more than 65 pounds in my pregnancies. 

What made you decided to do something about it?

It just bothered me not to be as slim as I used to be. My stomach was bigger than my chest and I didn’t like the way I looked in photos. When my eldest son (9) finally asked me why my stomach was still big and if there was a baby in it, my decision to lose weight became clear. That was very unpleasant for me.

Why did you decide to use Gymondo? 

I had heard a lot of good things about Gymondo and when I saw some of the success stories, I told myself that I could do it too! 

What was your first positive experience with Gymondo?

I found the training to be really fun and my measurements started to change really fast! I quickly dropped a dress size.

Was there a moment of happiness when you realized it was worth committing to it?

Yes, when, after 10 years, I was finally able to fit into a size 6 dress again. That was my moment of happiness.

Wow, that’s really great after such a long time. You’ve surely had moments that weren’t quite so happy, right? Were there any phases where you were in doubt?

Oh yes… There was a phase where nothing changed for four weeks; everything was standing still for some reason. Neither my measurements nor my weight was changing. I was about ready to give up. But then I looked at the old photos and said to myself: “No! You’ve achieved so much. You are not giving up now!” And it worked! 

You can see the results! How did friends and relatives react to your change?

All very positive! I often hear that I should be proud of myself and I am.

Was there something that motivated you to commit to your goal?

My pre-pregnancy pictures and the thought of looking like that again. For me, that meant being able to go out without wearing my stretchy pants. I finally got rid of them!

What has changed in your life since your transformation?

I regained my self-confidence and became much fitter. Playing and running around with the kids has also become much easier.

Do you have a special tip for those who want to lose weight just like you?

No, not really. First and foremost, do it for yourself so you can feel good and, even when things are tough and nothing works, don’t give up! It’s worth sticking with it. It’s a great feeling to be proud of yourself.

Sounds good! What’s your next goal?

I want to lose another 5 pounds and then work on my tummy to tighten it up.
