Anette is thrilled. She finally did it! She’s already lost 53 pounds with Gymondo. In this interview, she talks about her experiences. Read her motivational story here and then set off on your own path to success.
What made you realize that you needed a healthy lifestyle change?
It bothered me that my knees and back constantly ached as I played with my son. It got to the point where I couldn’t even play soccer anymore, and that’s my favorite sport.
What was the key moment that led you to start with Gymondo?
I was talking to a friend who also wanted to lose weight and get back in shape. We decided to help each other out with setting goals and we took them on together.
What was your first positive experience with Gymondo?
It was the soreness I felt in my muscles after the first workout. Some people might complain about that but I see it as a positive thing. It lets you know you’re really achieving something!
Were there any setbacks or moments of doubt?
There are times when you train like crazy and nothing changes on the scale. Seeing that really made me question my progress.
Was there a moment of happiness when you realized it was worth it?
When I first created a before/after picture and you could see right there how much I had achieved. That was a real moment of happiness!
How did friends and relatives react to your change?
My friends and family have all been very impressed with me and I have received many compliments for my physical change.
Was there anything that motivated you to stick to your goal?
I pulled out some old pants that used to fit me a few years ago. A few months ago, I couldn’t even get a leg in. I really wanted to fit in those pants again, so that’s what really motivated me. Now, they are quite loose!
What are your exact results?
Down 53 lbs. and 5 inches off the waist!
On average, how often do you work out each week?
On average 4 times a week.
What has changed in your life since your transformation?
I have become much more confident and have more fun with so many things!
Many people want to achieve results like yours. What’s your advice to them?
Never give up! The journey will be full of high moments that push you forward, but there’s also going to be a lot of low moments that’ll make you feel like you’re going backward. If you can stick to your goals despite those setbacks, then you’ll be unstoppable!
Do you have a final goal you’re pushing for at present?
My final goal is to lose 55 pounds. That’s the weight I had before my pregnancy. However, I don’t intend to stop exercising after I reach my goal. The benefits of an active lifestyle are just too great to ignore.
